Yo-Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits is an RPG created by Level-5 for the Nintendo 3DS that was published in 2016 as one of two primary versions of Yo-Kai Watch 2 (together with Fleshy Souls), with a subsequent improved edition named Psychic Specters. You play as Nate (Keita in Japan) or Katie, a child who can see Yo-kai through the Yo-Kai Watch. After mysterious figures steal it, you forget about Yo-kai until you reclaim it and embark on a time-traveling adventure to uncover the watch’s origins while becoming embroiled in a war between the Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls factions. The game includes over 350 Yo-kai to befriend and combat, an updated battle system with new Soultimate Moves and strategic tactics, additional regions to explore, including older versions of Springdale, and multiplayer battles and trade.
