Legend Of Zelda Oracle Of Seasons Rom is the European Game Boy Color ROM, stored in .gbc format. A compatible GBC emulator reads the cartridge data and runs the game. Onox imprisons Din and sinks the Temple of Seasons, leaving Holodrum’s weather in chaos. Link changes seasons at tree stumps while searching eight dungeons for the Essences of Nature.
A Stump, Rosa’s Key, and a Strange Flute Open Separate Routes
The Rod of Seasons only works while Link stands on a special stump. Winter freezes lakes and piles snow into raised paths. Summer dries certain pools, exposing ground while vines climb nearby walls. Spring opens Blast Blooms that launch Link upward. During autumn, leaves cover pits and hard mushrooms become soft enough to lift. Reaching another part of the same screen may require a different season and a return to the nearest stump.
Rosa’s Key Opens the Tower of Summer
Subrosia lies beneath Holodrum, where cloaked residents spend Ore Chunks and bathe in lava. Link digs up Star-Shaped Ore and trades it for a Ribbon. Rosa accepts the gift, agrees to a date, and follows him through Subrosia. Her key opens locked doors, including the entrance to the Tower of Summer.

The Strange Flute Decides Which Natzu Appears
Only one animal companion stays with Link. Without a Strange Flute, Ricky joins him and Natzu becomes a prairie filled with cliffs. Buying the flute in Horon Village brings Moosh and creates a wasteland of large pits. Winning it at the Subrosian Dance Hall selects Dimitri and replaces the area with currents and waterfalls. Ricky jumps across cliffs, Moosh hovers over pits, and Dimitri swims where Link cannot walk.
Gale Seeds Link Distant Seed Trees
Ember Seeds burn small trees and light torches. Scent Seeds draw enemies toward their landing point. Pegasus Seeds increase Link’s speed and extend his jumps. Gale Seeds blow enemies away or move Link between discovered Seed Trees. Mystery Seeds activate owl statues and affect certain foes. The Hyper Slingshot fires three directions while consuming one seed.
Eight Essences Lead Beyond Onox’s Castle
Every Essence of Nature strengthens the Maku Tree until it produces the Huge Maku Seed needed at Onox’s Castle. Dungeon items often become part of a boss solution. Dodongo must swallow a bomb before the Power Bracelet can lift him onto spikes. A missed Roc’s Feather jump during Mothula sends Link to the floor below. Gohma’s claw comes off before Slingshot seeds can hit its eye. Magnetic Gloves control the spiked ball used against Digdogger. In Explorer’s Crypt, losing every torch sends Link back to the entrance. Gleeok keeps fighting as a jumping skeleton after both heads fall. The final battle demands charged Spin Attacks, the Rod of Seasons, and careful jumps around Onox’s dragon form. Completing the game produces a password for Oracle of Ages, where the linked story eventually reaches Twinrova and Ganon.
