Inside the 5.9 GB USA .iso, Halo’s timeline turns back before Halo: Combat Evolved. Xbox 360 emulators run Halo: Reach Rom, an Xbox 360 action game about Noble Six and the battle for Reach.

Four New Modes Split Between Carrying and Defending

Slayer and King of the Hill return from earlier Halo games. That familiar pair sits beside four additions with different scoring and defense rules.

Halo: Reach

Skulls Need a Destination

Headhunter places several skulls across the map. Collecting one does not award the point yet; it must be delivered to a drop-off. Stockpile replaces skulls with flags. Teams collect and keep them, receiving points for every minute of possession.

Six Spartans Stand Between the Elites and the Core

Three Spartans defend power generators in Generator Defense while Covenant Elites try to destroy them. Invasion uses six Spartans and six Elites instead. In that mode, the Elites fight for a navigation core instead of targeting generators. The Spartans must keep it out of their hands.

Reach’s Last Stronghold Is Home to 700 Million Civilians

Reach is the UNSC’s last major stronghold outside the Sol system. It also holds about 700 million human civilians. The Covenant discovers its hidden location in 2552 and launches a full-scale offensive. SPARTAN-B312 joins Noble Squad under the callsign Noble Six. The Spartan-III fights as Covenant forces keep taking ground across the planet.

Forge Creates the Multiplayer Map

Forge is the included editor for multiplayer maps. Its tools create custom layouts. Players also choose their armor when spawning into a multiplayer game.

Jet Packs Join the Reusable Ability Set

Similar tech abilities appeared as single-use options in Halo 3 and Halo ODST. Reach makes them reusable. The set includes decoy holograms and active camouflage. A jet pack can be used again instead of disappearing after one activation.
