Shadow of the Colossus is an old-school, epic title from the PlayStation 2 era. You can Download the Shadow of the Colossus Rom as an ISO file, use it with any PS2 emulator, and run it on your PC or even your phone. It’s basically an action game, the version you’ll find is in English, and the file is somewhere around 496 MB, so it’s not too heavy to download.
The story is pretty simple but hits hard. A young man rides into a forbidden land with the body of a girl he wants to bring back to life. There, a strange being called Dormin makes him a deal: if he wants her soul returned, he has to track down and defeat sixteen huge creatures scattered across the land. Armed with an old sword and nothing but his horse, Agro, for company, he rides through deserts, cliffs, and ruined temples, climbing up these giants and looking for the weak spots that will bring them down. Each fight feels more like a desperate climb and puzzle than a regular boss battle. The whole journey is quiet, lonely, and driven by his obsession to save her, and the game is set in the same world that comes before the events of ICO.
