Driver 76 Rom is an action-packed prequel to Driver: Parallel Lines set in 1976 New York two years prior to its predecessor’s events. Sumo Digital and Ubisoft Reflections developed the game for Ubisoft Entertainment SA to release, offering 27 missions ranging from New Jersey to Coney Island. Players take control of Ray, an amateur criminal hoping to gain favor with a Triad boss by undertaking risky jobs which put him into direct confrontations with rival gangs. The narrative unfolds comic-book-style across six chapters. With more than 40 customizable vehicles ranging from dirt bikes and classic cars like the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, gameplay offers driving, shooting and free-roam exploration in an enjoyable package. Tasks in this game range from timed challenges, escorts, and destruction missions; with additional activities like racing or driving ambulances for extra cash.
